This timer can be seen and heard from anywhere in the room. It is a 7 ½ x 7 ½ inch square with a flat bottom, almost 1" numbers, and a red line that is easily seen. Simply set the timer for up to 60 minutes and place it in a visible location. There is an audible tick as the time winds down, and a bell sounds at the end of the set time. This isn't a fancy product, but one that would work well with a highly visual student who needs to 'see' the lesson time tick down. - Donna

This three-function clock timer allows you to count up time, count down time, or just tell the time. At our house it has proved invaluable, reminding us to stir science experiments at timed intervals, or sounding the alarm when drill time is up. Mom keeps one on her desk to keep us on schedule. Now the kids want one of their own to aid in self-scheduling. Its angled face makes it easy to read, and its non-skid base keeps it where its put (until somebody carries it off to use it). Alarm gently beeps when time is up. Runs on an AA battery. Beats our old stopwatch hands-down.

Help your children organize their day! Designed by a father of an autistic child, this visual tool complements the Time Timer® to help children grasp the concept of time and time management. Containing 70 magnetic images that include 35 Time Timer® clocks representing various predetermined time intervals and 35 actions and activities, this flexible daily planner will help children “see” how much time to spend on each task. The premise is simple. Prior to setting the timer on your Time Timer®, select up to 5 activities to be completed within a set time period. Place the magnets on the included magnetic door hanger. Next to the activity, place the magnet that displays the time you want the child to spend on this task. Set the Time Timer ®for the full time for all activities and allow your child to divide his time spent on activities following the scheduled time blocks on the door hanger. The beautiful thing about this: children of all ages and abilities will feel more in control of their hour/day as they self-monitor time spend on various tasks throughout their day.

Magnetic Pictographs included are Time Timer® Clocks set for 5-60 minutes (in 5 minute increments) and 3 blank clocks (and red marker) to create your own set time. Specifically, there are 3 pictograms each for the 5, 10, 45 and 60 minutes; 5 each pictograms for 15, 20 and 30 minutes; and 1 each of 25, 35, 40, 50, and 55 minutes. Activity pictograms include brush teeth, car, computer time, do homework, eat, go to toilet, play alone, play outside, put away toys, put away clothes, reading, sleep, take a bath, and turn off light plus many other common tasks. Magnetic Pictograms measure 1.5x1.5” and double sided door hanger measures approximately 3 3/8x11 3/8”. Instructions included. ~ Deanne

The pressure is mounting in this fast-moving word game! This simple-to-learn, easy-to-pick-up-and-play game consists of a Tapple Wheel and 36 category cards (with 144 total categories in two difficulty levels).  The Tapple Wheel has 20 different letter buttons around the outside and a timer button in the middle. A category card is flipped and players take turns shouting out an answer that fits the category, pressing the letter button that corresponds to their answer, and hitting the timer button to restart the 10 seconds for the next player.  For example, the category may be “Something Flat” and the first player shouts out “pancakes” and pushes the ‘P’ button, the next player may say “gum” and push the ‘G’, and on play goes until a player cannot think of an item that fits the category with the remaining letters. Players are eliminated until only one player is left. Then a new category is started for the next round. Ten seconds isn’t a lot of time and as popular letters are eliminated, time seems to go faster and faster! 2-8 players. ~ Megan

It’s like a scene from a movie: in the early hours of the morning you’re trying to catch your last few hours of sleep, when suddenly you hear a little voice whispering from right in front of you. If this happens frequently to you and your little ones just don’t want to stay in bed, try Ok to Wake! This fun alarm clock/night light is set by parents and has a warm, yellow glow when the night light button is activated. When it’s time for the kids to wake up, an alarm goes off, the screen displays fun animations, and the light turns green, signaling kids that they can now get out of bed. It sounds simple, but this little clock has worked for many families! The clock also features and nap timer, snooze function, back lit display, and hidden parental controls. There’s even an included alternate face plate so your child can choose between the pink flower and the green alien. Requires 4 AA batteries, not included. – Laura

This smaller format (7.5" x 9") makes this book very kid-friendly and portable. You can set a timer if you'd like and go for speed and accuracy at the same time. Choice Words challenges your brain to stretch in two directions, thinking of both the most popular and least popular words and phrases. Each round, a player will choose between Scratch Play or Match Play. In Scratch Play, one player will draw a card, and read a root word, like "air." Then the timer is started and players race to write the most unique compound words and phrases containing "air." When the time is up, players each read their list, crossing out any phrases that another player also has. So if nobody else wrote "airship," "thin air," or "air supply" then you would get three points for that round. In Match Play, another word is read, like "sand____." Players all come up with one compound word or phrase that they think will be the most popular in the group, like "sandcastle." If your answer matches other players' answers, you (and they) receive points. There's no board here, just two decks of cards, a pad of paper and a timer, so this is a great one to take along and enjoy. For 2-8 players. – Jess
