Subtitled "the Unquenchable Thirst," this book's aim is to see if any religion can quench the universal thirst for answers to the conflict existing between human nature and moral law. This book explores a variety of questions which often leave even the most notorious of scholars baffled and perplexed. The key questions covered include: "Does God Exist?" "Do We Reap What We Sow?" and "Are We Bad to the Bone?" As the Christian authors Britton Weimer and Paul Johnson write, they use non-Christian thinkers and sources to show what their answers are to these tough questions. Then they look at what other religions offer as solutions to these moral dilemmas, with a special focus on good works and religious rituals. In the end, the authors present Christianity as a radical solution to quench the thirst for the answers to these universal questions. Of course, it is up to the reader to decide. This paperback book is a quick read and would be a great resource for anyone seeking answers to these deep, intellectual questions. This book may only be the start to your long search for answers; however, the authors list many books at the end of each chapter for you to reference if you want to continue your search. 110 pages. - elise

Quick. Name element number 38 on the periodic table. Also, give it's symbol, atomic number, whether it's a solid, liquid or gas, metal, semimetal, or nonmetal, it's mass number, number of protons, neutrons and electrons, it's ion charge, atomic radius, and it's electron configuration. Without a periodic table. Okay, that last sentence was a joke. But even with a periodic table, how much of that information would you be able to find? All of it and more, if you knew how to read it, but most people don't. This book includes fifty reproducible activities to teach your aspiring chemist how to interpret the information on the periodic table. They will be able to answer all those above questions, and many more, about all elements in the periodic table. To non-chemists, it sounds like a tough job, but knowing how to read the periodic table is a valuable skill for anyone interested in chemistry. Includes directions and answers where needed. Some of the activities require additional materials, but you should already have them around the house. ~ Stephanie

Is this a coloring book? An art history book? A collection of artist biographies? An art kit? The answer is YES to all! This long, horizontal-format book includes a set of 8 full-size, Faber-Castell colored pencils with rich deep colors, a sharpener, and a white eraser. The pages conveniently lay flat. On your left page is interesting information about the painting and artist, the time period and location, and a quick-view list of "10 Things to Remember" which adds more detailed information about the art. "Did You Know" facts are at the bottom in a blue text box. On the right hand page of the spread is a blackline outline of the painting for you to color in. Some have quite a bit of detail, while others leave more to your artistic judgment. Colored pictures of the paintings are in the back of the book. Students can either imitate the originals or decide not to look at the original until they have colored their own, and then make a comparison. This would make a great writing assignment! The colored images in the back are not of the exact paintings; rather they are done as if the artist had colored in the provided black outline of the real painting, like a coloring book page of the real picture.

Please note this book has a little nudity, including Birth of Venus, Tempest, Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, and Nude Descending a Staircase (in abstract form). In the back is a 52 question quiz with answers on the next page. A total of 52 paintings span a variety of art styles and time periods. This book would make a great gift for art fans, as well as an addition to an art class. Add it to a unit study of women in history, a study of Europe, or a specific time period in history (ie. Medieval, Renaissance, 20th Century). 127 pgs, hc. ~Sara

To start, lay out 36 images in a 6x6 grid. The Brain Master of the round secretly selects an image. Then players take turns asking yes/no questions to try and identify the secret object, but only 10 questions can be asked in total. The twist is that the Brain Master will give the opposite-of-correct answer – so you have to pay attention! Successfully guessing the object, scores you a point. Reach 3 points and you win! 2-6 players, 15 minutes. ~ Megan

Do you ever have difficulty answering some of those tough questions asked of Christians? How can God allow evil? Are miracles possible? Is Christianity the only true religion? This book was written as a resource to help you with answers for others and yourself. Over 400 pages of topics and conclusion, objections to the conclusion, and rebuttals. After the introduction, the second part addresses questions about the existence of God, Part 3 is God & Nature, Part 4 is God and Grace, Part 5 is God and Glory, and Part 6 summarizes with conclusions. This might not be the type of book you want to sit down and read cover to cover, but more of a reference book that allows you to go to information on specific topics. The book is written by professors of philosophy and religion so, as you might guess, many of the answers are answered from a philosophical perspective (I felt like I was back in my college philosophy classes) and true logic is employed. Written in defense of the Christian faith, the information would be super helpful to anyone who has questions or needs to answer these questions. We are all called to bear witness; that means we need to know how to answer the tough questions asked of us and defend the faith. ~ Donna

Have you ever wanted to sit and soak in the wisdom of an expert in treating learning difficulties? As a parent or educational specialist, you know the children in your care are bright and capable, yet learning is hard for them. If you ever wondered if you can do more to help your struggling learner, this DVD series may have the answers you are seek.

Designed for Special Ed teachers, literacy teachers, home-educators, tutors and others with a special interest to help children, Dianne Craft’s 10+ hour seminar series explains the brain research behind many learning glitches (disabilities), gives you the tools to identify processing glitches, and plan a program to correct blocked learning gates. She also provides effective strategies and lesson plans through the 9 sessions in this video seminar. Sessions include:

Session 1: Identifying Your Child’s Processing Problems provides the foundational understanding of the four learning gates and signs of blocked learning gates. Right and Left Brain learning traits are also clarified. A 3-prong approach is provided to correct blocked learning gates.

Session 2: Dysgraphia: When Writing is Painful discusses the signs of writing stress and compares it to a child who may appear lazy or uncooperative. Visual-Spatial problems are also explained before she expands on activities to correct dysgraphia. Mrs. Craft stresses that progress may be seen in as little as 3 months; however, a minimum of 6 months is necessary for full benefit. Includes step by step, Daily Writing “Eight” Exercise instructions and the daily lesson plan for struggling writer and speller.

Session 3: Right Brain Paragraph and Composition Writing addresses the “loose thought patterns” experienced by children and teens who suffer with dysgraphia, ADD or Auditory Processing problems. A simple formula of baby steps, right brain webbing and modeling are easy to implement at home and have proven successful with reluctant, struggling writers. Includes directions for beginning, intermediate and advanced skill levels, along with writing tools for parent/teacher guidance.

Session 4: Right Brain Math is dedicated to all the children who forget math from day to day. Teaching a “Plan B” for struggling math students, Mrs. Craft provides helpful, detailed information on right brain strategies for effective learning of math concepts. These strategies will work with any math curriculum. Includes math tutoring instructions.

Session 5: Training Your Child’s Photographic Memory (for Spelling) provides a right brain teaching strategies that work for struggling spellers-regardless of brain dominance. Considered a “Plan B” for spellers, this DVD teaches a photographic memory method which may be valuable throughout life. Includes information to access a 1200 Most Commonly Used Words list.

Session 6: Dyslexia and Other Reading Problems explores why reading is hard for some kids. With a focus on children at least 2 years behind in reading, Mrs. Craft explains the levels of processing problems, and differentiates dyslexia from visual and auditory processing disorders, and general reading dysfunctions. She then elaborates on the keys to correcting reading problems: Correct and Bypass. Includes daily lesson plans and a quick word recognition spelling test. Also, recommended for correction of reading problems are the Brain Integration Therapy Manual and Right Brain Phonics materials and basal readers.

Session 7: Kids and Teenagers with Focus/Attention Issues takes a fascinating look at how our diet and antibiotic use may appear as symptoms of sensory dysfunction and focus/attention issues. She also explores the big question- “Is it character or chemistry?” and provides simple checklists of behavioral and physical characteristics. Dietary changes and nutritional supplementation recommendations are recommended.

Session 8: Auditory Process Problems reviews common myths before teaching the characteristics that impact reading, spelling and math. Covering common physical causes (allergies, nutritional deficiencies), Mrs. Craft shares ways to bypass and correct auditory channels issues at home.

Session 9: Autism, Asperger’s and Sensory Processing Problems looks at the increasing prevalence of autism in the U.S., traditional treatment and causation theories. Mrs. Craft recommends a 3-pronged approach to unlock the abilities of Autistic children, with a focus on nutrition in this session. She provides the foundational knowledge you need to identify, treat and restore the underlying biochemical disorder that may cause or exacerbate autistic symptoms.

Overall, this series is tremendously beneficial for parents and educators alike. There are a couple of disappointments. First, the DVDs are recordings of workshop sessions presented to a large group. Therefore, some graphics are difficult to see or have been updated to fit the DVD presentation. On one occasion, Mrs. Craft and her assistant are showing how to do the Circle Eight Exercises correctly and are partially blocked by the podium. The accompanying Study Guide is jam-packed with helpful information; however, at times is difficult to follow along with the presentations. As my colleagues and I viewed the videos, we elected to take notes during the sessions and read the study guide after the session. While there is no Biblical teaching, Mrs. Craft makes comments about our children being “God-made”, the value of prayer in helping our struggling learners and “God as our Supreme Being.” DVDs range from 45-90 minutes. CEUs or course completion certifications are also available. ~ Deanne

Here is accessible, practical help for parents discussing tough topics with their kids: death, Satan and hell, divorce, difficult Bible stories, sexual sin, natural disasters, and why people fight or kill. Each chapter follows the same path. First, through Scripture, metaphor, and life stories, the authors help you as a parent flesh out each topic so that you have a solid grasp before explaining it to your child. Then comes sample discussions, presented in child-friendly ways, for responding to a child ages 5-10 or a child ages 11 and up. The authors stress that these are sample conversations only and not scripts. The focus is to then tailor your response to your style and your child’s needs and questions. Finally, each chapter ends with “In a Nutshell,” which summarizes the truths presented in each chapter. The authors take a walk-along-side approach with parents as they present truths from Scripture on each of these difficult topics. I so appreciate the simple depth of wisdom and grace this mother/daughter team use. The focus of each chapter is to see that God is the answer for the consequences of sin in the world and that effectively conveying this truth is ultimately dependent on the work of the Holy Spirit. Written by the authors of Give Them Grace (#052046). Includes a recommended resource list for further study. 5.5” x 8.5”, 173 pp, sc. ~ Ruth

Kids ask questions – awkward, messy, tough and annoying questions. Everybody knows this. Are you prepared to answer them – to answer them well? This little book responds to the 50 questions that young ones ask most often (questions were supplied by parents across the United States and from several foreign countries). For each question, the author sets the stage and then “uncovers the meaning” – looking at what is going on behind the scenes. Then she gently lays out the “best way to respond” – with humor, grace, and wisdom. Written from a family psychologist perspective laced with common sense, you’ll feel “armed” when your little one next confronts you with his innocent questions. 218 pgs, small-sized (5” x 7”) pb. ~ Janice

The social backdrop of the original book written in 1971 by James Dobson has indeed changed, but the principles have not. In fact, Dobson asserts, the test of time has sharpened the vision and allowed the beneficial example of thousands of children who’ve been raised under these principles. The goal is to provide a practical, reassuring guide that will teach you how to meet your children’s needs of love, trust and discipline. Eleven chapters cover topics such as Common Sense and Your Child, The Miracle Tools, The Barriers to Learning and Discipline in Morality. Chapters are full of principles and application. Some chapters follow a Question/Answer format. The practical application will be useful in the classroom and home arenas. An authoritative standard in parenting. An appendix entitled, A Quick Survey of Drugs and Substance Abuse for Parents gives descriptions of different drug types and a listing of current slang for different drug types. 274 pp, sc. ~ Ruth

This book by Alex McFarland from Focus on the Family offers answers that might help you find the words. This 280-page resource can be a tremendous help when you're trying to explain tough concepts to children and friends. ~ Donna

SAT test questions are designed with a progression in difficulty and include a certain number of questions that they expect very, very few students to be able to answer correctly. Most test prep books start with the general and don't even attempt to prepare students for that extremely difficult mini-percentage of questions. However, if you are a student who can zip through the basic questions, you may be one who has a real chance at achieving a 2400 score on the SAT – a perfect score. This is the book that will help you. Ignoring the basic questions and the basic strategies, the focus of this book is on the especially tricky concepts and tough questions. Why the push for a perfect or near-perfect score? To get into the school of your dreams.

    There are six sections:

    • 1) An overview of the SAT
    • 2) Critical reading – how to handle the hardest Long and Short Reading Passages, with special attention on the difficult Narrative, Science, and Paired Passages. Also include the best strategies for the difficult Sentence Completion questions (those with two blank and hard vocabulary).
    • 3) Writing section – how to turn a so-so essay into a top-scoring one as well as the Writing Multiple Choice questions.
    • 4) Math basics- effective strategies for handling the toughest math questions.
    • 5) A follow-up section that deals with the trickiest "straight math" questions – really tough questions that are not word problems.
    • 6) A follow-up section that deals with the ugly SAT Math word problems. There are five strategy chapters within these various sections each with advanced level strategies ending with a practice set to apply them.

The best test preparation for high scorers involves a combination of taking real or simulated SATs under test-like conditions and studying the tips and techniques for acing the hard questions. This book is all about those tips and techniques. 395 pgs, pb ~ Janice

Although it has been a number of years since I faced the terrible twos, I vividly remember the tears and the tantrums! In all honesty, not all those tears and tantrums came from my precocious two year olds - some were mine! Friends tried their best to give advice, but much of it was based on modern, child-centered philosophies. Then one day, a friend introduced me to the writings of John Rosemond, and our home life was dramatically improved.

Offering excellent, practical advice for parents of nearly two year old through three year olds, this valuable book guides parents through healthy development, toilet training, establishing good bedtime habits, effective creative discipline, and controlling biting and other aggressive behaviors. One of his best tips, in my opinion is: Prevent your home from becoming child-centered and prioritize your marriage (and he shows you how!) As the mom to two adult-children, I can attest to the significance of this simple, yet profound counsel. Each chapter offers an extensive question and answer section, covering a wide range of situations parents of toddlers face. Indexed for quick reference for impending situations. 230 pgs, sc. ~Deanne

This is another quality, standards-based curriculum that is now available to homeschool families. If you want to be sure that your child is covering material found on standardized testing or your goal is to keep pace with grade-level classrooms or put your child back into the classroom without gaps, Scott Foresman covers the necessary information at each grade level.

Content-wise, Grades 5 and 6 are very similar. The United States (Gr. 5) and Building a Nation (Gr.  6) are identical through Unit 7 (the Civil War and the end of slavery). The grade 6 text – Building a Nation – has an additional two units (Expansion and Change; The United States and the World) which take the historical narrative up to the end of the 19th century. We assume the reason for this duplication is that most states require state history in either 5th or 6th grades. You would then choose to use either the 5th grade or the 6th grade course to cover the first part of American history.

Homeschool bundle includes the necessary student and teacher information at each level. Grade 5 & 6 bundles include 2 volumes of the teacher edition with pouch cards and pouch, hardcover student text, and workbook.

The Teacher Edition includes small-format student text pages with teaching notes in the margins, reproducibles, reference lists, skills handbook for citizenship, research, and geography. Strategies for teaching vocabulary, planning guide, answer keys for the workbook, and other resources are included in the overview of the curriculum and for each unit. You will see some resources mentioned that aren’t included in this bundle, but are not necessary for the completion of the course – transparencies, quick studies, posters, etc. Suggestions for family and calendar activities, writing rubrics, reading suggestions, and graphic organizers are also found in the teacher edition. Online resources can be found at the publisher’s website, sfsocialstudies.com – library, current events, atlas, activities, and biographies, along with live links to learning partners for this curriculum – Smithsonian, Colonial Williamsburg, and others.

Student Texts provide grade-appropriate reading opportunity along with a plethora of visuals – diagrams, timelines, photos, illustrations, and maps – ideal for those who need a little more than just the reading. Units are divided into chapters and further divided into lessons. Each lesson includes a preview, vocabulary, review, and “think and apply” questions. A review section provides summary at the end of each chapter, and can be used as an assessment opportunity (answers provided in the teacher edition).

The Workbook included in each set includes reinforcement activities - vocabulary practice, lesson reviews, reading skills practice, skills worksheets, and projects. Multiple choice, short answer, fill-in-the-blank, reading graphs and maps are all used to enhance and strengthen the students understanding of textual content.

Written for the tween' crowd, this book is full of information in the areas of puberty and beauty care. Part I is Body Talk' and answers the questions in ten chapters that mini-women' have asked about puberty. Part II, Beauty Matters,' addresses skin care, hair care, foot care, and more.

What makes this book a bit different is the way the information is presented. Girls don't just read; the chapters are divided into sub points with things to do. In every chapter, you will find "Here's the Deal" that presents a lot of information. "That is So Me" offers quizzes to help the reader figure things out and make decisions. "Got God?" tells what the Bible says on the different issues. "You Can Do It" is a crafty thing to make or an activity to reinforce the content. "That's What I'm Talkin' About" is a place where you will write or draw or journal. "Mini-Women Say" are quotes from other tween girls. "Just So You Know" are fun facts for conversational purposes. "Who, Me?" is a quick activity to help the reader see how all the information can help. This is a pretty meaty book, 427 pages, black and white, but easy to read because of the short sections. Nancy Rue, author, has a website (faithgirlz.com) with a lot of additional information for girls and moms. ~ Donna

It's easy to see the brilliance of our Creator when you look upon the starry skies or a majestic tree. But when you look at a periodic table? I'll bet most of us (myself included) have rarely been inspired to spiritual thoughts by the sight of one. Of course, that could all change after reading this unique book. Author Richard D. Duncan provides readers an appreciation for both specific elements and their Creator though a discussion of each elements discovery and uses which neatly tie into a biblical application. Volume 1 of the series (I have been assured there is another volume in progress) starts at the very top left-hand side of the periodic table with Hydrogen and continues across the chart offering a two-page mini-lesson on each element. Each two-page spread includes a discussion of the element, its properties and its uses on the left-hand page, along with several bulleted facts relating to its name or discovery. The right-hand page relates the properties and/or uses of the element to a biblical lesson that we can take from the element. A short "quick quiz" follows, with several short-answer and multiple choice questions about the element (answers included at the end of the book). A final "response" closes each lesson and offers a short prayer or thought related to the biblical application. Although the lessons are short, the write-ups on each element are fascinating, especially when science history or uses for the element in the Bible are discussed. While you won't find much in the way of chemical concepts here (oxidation-reduction, electron levels, etc.) this is an easy-to-use, casual study of the elements that be enjoyed by any student of chemistry, or for the whole family to use as a tie-in to a chemistry course taught at any level. The book brought to mind Luke 19:40, where Jesus replies to Pharisees who are criticizing his noisy, exuberant disciples. '"I tell you," he replied, "If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."' – Jess

Christian teenagers today face social issues that would have seemed absurd just a few generations ago. They are seen as ignorant and bigoted if they reject things like homosexuality, witchcraft, and abortion or embrace things like sexual purity and Creationism. Some of the issues are so new that many parents struggle to find biblically-based answers to questions their teenagers may be asking. This timely book gives clear, succinct answers to these common questions with biblical, scientific, and other data to back them up. If you're homeschooling your children, they may not be exposed to some of the issues/questions presented in this book, but in a world that is becoming increasingly more "new-age" (and is increasingly viewing Christianity as an intolerant, hypocritical, close-minded, archaic religion), parents need to be aware of what their kids are exposed to by society in general and be prepared to answer some tough questions. The book covers a wide range of topics including the origin of man, the existence of hell, modern science, the Bible, Jesus, homosexuality, oppression of women, the Crusades, sex, abortion, genetic engineering, divorce, public schools, work and careers, pornography, government, wars, Islam, Wicca, and much more. Questions like "What if people created God out of their own need to feel cared for? Shouldn't we be tolerant of what others believe? If people want to die, isn't it more merciful to let them commit suicide? Do Christians believe in the separation of church and state?" and "Don't Christians have a long history of persecuting Muslims?" are just a few of the contemporary questions that this book tries to answer. Some age-old questions like "Why does the universe exist?" and "Did God create evil?" are also covered. By relying on common sense and statistics as much as the Bible, this book gives straightforward answers that will prepare parents to talk to their children about these issues. 232 pgs, pb. ~ Rachel

The New Answers Book has been very popular for Christians who want to find quick, detailed, scientifically and biblically accurate answers to common questions about Creationism and Intelligent Design. This second book follows in its steps, answering 30 more questions dealing with Creation/Evolution and the Bible. These questions seem a bit more complex and culturally focused than those in the first book. Using Genesis and science as a basis, the book answers questions ranging from the origin of evil, if evolution fits with the Bible, how a Christian should respond to gay marriage, and if Creationists can believe in physics like relativity, quantum mechanics, and string theory. The book does a good job of showing how the "evolutionizing" of our culture is not just affecting science – it's affecting most aspects of our society. With 30 common questions answered in a concise, intelligent way by various experts in the Creationism field, this book covers an impressive variety of subjects linked to evolution. Puberty can often be an awkward, or even difficult time for girls. With so many changes happening all at once, it can be downright overwhelming. This book helps girls cope with their changing bodies by helping them to understand what to expect, and by offering practical tips for handling the challenges of physical development with grace and poise.

The ten chapters in this 192-page book address topics such as changing body shapes, breast development, hair care basics, nail care tips for hands and feet, skin care issues like acne, surviving menstruation, getting enough sleep, getting and staying physically fit, healthy eating, and dealing with new experiences such as a first crush or peer pressure.

I really liked how interactive this book is. Throughout the book there are designated areas for girls to jot quick thoughts about what they are reading and how it relates to them. Also, there are frequent personal inventory type quizzes to help girls determine if they're on the right track, or to identify areas needing improvement. Other fun features include "advice column" type question and answer sections, a simple, daily workout routine, and a number of recipes for homemade skin care and beauty products such as Fresh Squeezed Lemon Hair Rinse, Rainbow Twirl Lip Gloss, and Candy Apple Shower Gel.

I also appreciated how this book emphasizes scripture and godly principles, and helps girls to respond to their changing bodies and the pressures of adolescence in a way that is honoring to God. By applying the wisdom in this book, girls can grow spiritually as they grow physically.

While the text of the book speaks directly to the teen girl (and is thus sensitive to her need for added privacy during these years of development,) Christian Girl's Guide does an excellent job of providing teen-initiated discussion with Mom, and never undermines parental authority. Read the book first, if you like, and then give it to your daughter to work through on her own, trusting that she will come to you with questions and concerns about the changes that lie ahead. This encouraging book is perfect for any girl in the process of growing up and growing into a godly woman. ~ Rachel P.

Too often Christians are asked difficult questions concerning God and their beliefs and they don't know how to answer – If there is a God, why didn't he stop that from happening? Doesn't science prove evolution, not creation? Sometimes coming up with logical, thought out responses comes well after the conversation. This book is full of questions that have been asked of Ray Comfort along with Biblical responses that have been logically thought through. The book is written in an easy to read-and-reference question/answer format in the areas of Humanity: Rights & Suffering, Biblical and Theological issues, Scientific thought and evolution, Beliefs & Worldviews, and God and Atheism.

Ray is an author, television personality, and operater of his blog, Atheist Central. The questions and answers found in this book are real, and are probably some you may have encountered. The answers are also genuine as Ray Comfort responds to atheists daily – sharing Biblical truths and pointing out flaws in their thinking. Spend some time getting familiar with Ray's responses and Biblical support to help you be prepared the next time you are faced with one of these tough questions – be ready to defend God! - Donna

If your student is interested in comparing countries and their governments, this is an excellent workbook. It seeks to answer questions such as: What is life like in a successfully governed nation?, How does a nation fail?, Where are people happiest (or not)?, How has history shaped world politics?, and How do nations rate in terms of successful governments? The goal is to introduce students to a mixture of 13 international governments. Each section starts by giving names of the nation, national motto, and a website with information pertaining to the country. Following this is a few comments about the country and its government, along with a summary of the three branches of government (executive, legislative, and judicial). Next are any major issues the nation is trying to overcome and bullet entries with quick facts about the country. An activity page follows each section. There are two levels of reading comprehension: one which is best for 6th grade and another appropriate for 4-6 grade. The latter is only available on the CD-ROM included in the back of the book. Additional activities on the CD-ROM include puzzle and logic problems, simulation on designing a new government, and links to websites allowing students to see newscasts, hear radio broadcasts, and read newspapers from other countries. Also on the CD-ROM are challenge activities comparing constitutions, group exercises on developing a treaty among world governments, the complete text of the United States Constitution, and political maps of the world, continents, and regions. There are printable worksheets that can be completed on a Classroom Whiteboard, Computer Projection Device, or Desktop Computer. A glossary of terms is available at the beginning of the book. Including an abundance of information about nations and governments from all regions of the globe, this will certainly be an informative resource. Answers for the exercises are included in the back. 75 pgs. ~ Gina

Setting up camp on your dining table is as easy as unfolding the game board – it's the questions on the path to the camp that may challenge you. With simple game play that focuses more on outdoor education rather than on competition, your family will be able to jump right into this board game. Players start at the camp and must answer multiple choice questions as they wander through the wilderness path on the board. The question cards each contain four questions at different difficulty levels, with players selecting their level at the beginning of the game. Questions test a wide range of animal and nature knowledge for the entire family, and the upper level questions can definitely be a challenge. When we played, one time around the board made for a very quick game with two players, so you might want to go around a couple of times. For up to 8 players. - Zach
